Otto in the air
The Burlesque Golden candle is scented with Otto, Fornasetti's benchmark fragrance created by master perfumer Olivier Polge. The interior ambiance is infused with notes of Mediterranean herbs, wood and incense, a sophisticated perfume that transcends time, season, gender and borders.. Top notes: thyme, lavender
. Heart notes: iris, cedarwood
. Base notes: tolu balsam, frankincense, birch, labdanum
The candle is made of 100% natural wax, free of pesticides and allergens, which ensures a regular diffusion of the aroma, clean burning, and with a duration of at least 100 hours. Once consumed, the ceramic cup can be reused for decoration or as a collector's item.
Burlesque in gold edition
The beautiful and enigmatic opera singer Lina Cavalieri, muse of Piero Fornasetti, inspired his Tema e Variazioni series with 350 variations of her face. In the Burlesque candle, which was already presented in black and white, a face with nose and mask have been chosen with the motifs now illuminated in gold. Depending on the angle of view, the candle shows the face with a sober hairnet and a mysterious mask. Barnaba Fornasetti continues to bring to life the work of his father, the multifaceted artist Piero Fornasetti (1913-1988), with the reissue of his most iconic graphic motifs in decorative objects.
