Famed perfumer Parfums de Marly has created another magnificent fragrance that pays homage to the proud history of the majestic horse.
The brand's latest offering, Byerley, is named after one of the first three stallions who were the founders of modern thoroughbred horse racing. According to legend, the dark brown stallion was born during a thunderstorm did not fear the sounds of cannons or gunfire and thus became a fearsome warhorse.
Developing a memorable perfume with heart was no easy task, but there was no better inspiration than the distinctive character of Byerley's powerful horse, which has played a remarkable role in European history.
Byerley boasts top notes of Bergamot and Cardamom and moves on to be more sensual with a combination of woody notes.
All in all, the heavenly blend of notes highlights a rich, elegant and long-lasting signature.
