The Asian brand brings an avant-garde line of aromas that adapts individualism, imagination and breaking the canon in fragrances. This product is born from the collaboration of Comme des Garçons with Monocle magazine. The perfume takes its name from a type of cypress that only grows in Japan, its wood is highly valued for the construction of temples and palaces. This fragrance was launched in 2008.

Comme Des Garçons is a Japanese fashion brand founded by Rei Kawakubo in 1973, it is established in Tokyo and has a branch in Paris, the city where they show their main collections during Paris Fashion Week. The main store is located in Aoyama, one of the districts dedicated to fashion in Japan, it also has several concept stores in cities such as Kyoto, Osaka and Fukuoka, outside of Japanese territory it has stores in cities such as New York, Hong Kong, Beijing , Seoul and Manila. Since 2004 the company has developed a market concept where they display their collections in each store along with other clothing brands and have a perfume collection.
In addition to fashion clothing and exhibitions, the brand has entered the fragrance business, the first line of perfumes was launched in 1994, its mixtures are unconventional aromas in the world of perfumery, they contain conceptual elements such as oxygen , mineral coal, sand, cellulose and others. Since 2002, the perfume line has joined forces with Puig Company to be part of the product catalogue. Puig owns part of the Comme des Garçons license in its perfumery division.
