With its citrus and Mediterranean top notes, this fragrance stimulates the senses before igniting them with heart notes that feature a bouquet of seductive flowers, including jasmine, Mexican tuberose and ylang ylang. The beguiling base has notes of vanilla and wood.
The Frutto Proibito fragrance is visually interpreted by the face of the 19th century opera singer, Lina Cavalieri, who was both a classical beauty with an enigmatic gaze and Fornasetti's muse, and who is now an icon. The woman encounters the temptation of the snake, a reminder of Original Sin.
The bottle’s novel octagonal design makes the Fornasetti extrait de parfum a unique object, whilst the green Malachite cap adds an elegant, refined touch.The box plays with the octagonal shape, evoking the design of the bottle.
