The Fornasetti Profumi per La Casa collection combines designs by iconic Italian artists with premium room fragrances for a multi-sensory experience. These are unique and sophisticated objects of handcrafted production in limited editions. Decorative art with a surreal, magical and timeless touch.
Flora in the air
The candle gives off a green and floral scent. A perfume inspired by the exotic flowers surrounding the Fornasetti house in Milan, created by master perfumer Emmanuel Philip. The name of the perfume pays homage to this Italian floral landscape, and also to the goddess of flowers, Flora. Top notes: ivy, lily of the valley, white rose. Heart notes: iris, orange blossom, jasmine.
. Base notes: tuberose, sandalwood, musk.
The candle is 100% natural wax, free of pesticides and allergens, which ensures a regular diffusion of the aroma, clean burning, and with a duration of at least 60 hours. Once consumed, the bottle can be reused for decoration or as a collector's item.
Lina Cavalieri and femininity
The image adorning the ceramic bottle is that of Belle Époque opera singer and actress Lina Cavalieri, characterized as Flora, goddess of flowers, spring and fertility. Her enigmatic face - she is considered the most beautiful woman in the world - captivated Piero Fornasetti who made her his muse after seeing a photograph of her. The diva inspired the series Tema e variazioni with more than 350 variations of her face.
The colorful festival of the floral motif, in a more classical pictorial style, contrasts with the face of Flora or Lina Cavalieri in black and white, with the characteristic dotted patterns used by the artist.
Fornasetti Profumi per la Casa
Barnaba Fornasetti continues to bring to life the work of her father, the multifaceted artist Piero Fornasetti (1913-1988), with the re-edition of his most iconic graphic motifs in decorative objects. He also creates his reinventions, new designs but faithful to the Fornasetti hallmarks.
The Fornasetti Profumi per La Casa collection consists of scented candles, Japanese incense, incense burners, perfume diffusers and spray air fresheners. A collection that is produced in limited editions and is in continuous evolution both in decorative art and in ambient perfumes.
