ROBERT PIGUET
Robert Piguet is an iconic French perfume line that changed the world of perfumery. Swiss-born Robert Piguet moved to Paris to pursue his dream of designing fashion, beginning his career at the legendary Poirot and Redfern houses. In collaboration with perfumer Germaine Cellier in the late 1940s, Piguet's Bandit and Fracas fragrances ushered in a new era in perfumery. They were said to "have a particular touch very characteristic of their brands: Strict adherence to good taste, authentic luxury and an innate sense of seduction"
He trained some of the most esteemed designers to this day. Those such as Hubert de Givenchy, Christian Dior, Pierre Balmain and Marc Bohan learnt the art of haute couture from the man himself. Dior personally credits Piguet for teaching him the “virtues of simplicity through which true elegance must come.
A pioneer of "Parisian Haute Couture," Robert Piguet was a mentor to some of the world’s most famed fashion designers. In 1944, he collaborated with Germaine Cellier to launch a signature line of fragrances. Now completely revamped, the brand has expanded its fragrance line to offer a variety of perfumes blended in an array of alluring notes. Elegantly presented in classic black packaging, the brand’s perfumes are infused in captivating floral, fruity, and woody aromas. Robert Piguet also offers body lotions scented with its timeless fragrances.
