The candles in the Home Stories Collection line of Perfumes Comporta are unique treasures. AL-qasr is the piece that encompasses the gold of our candles. A palace designed and produced by Vista Alegre to enhance our entire candle burning experience.
AL-qasr is the Arabic word for Palace and for the charming and historic town of Alcácer do Sal, located in Alentejo. To it also belongs "Comporta", that extraordinary getaway of endless white sandy beaches and the Atlantic sea breeze that inspired our story.

Story: "I asked Stephanie Bakouche for one little thing: to make the perfect room perfume for me. That is, a perfume of pure elegance, hyper-sophisticated and with a classic patina.
I proposed that we start from that blend of bergamot and black tea oils, the magical base of Earl Gray tea. Then we created an evocation of black teas from China, Ceylon and the Azores, a whole history of Portugal in the world. Camellia sinensis is the basic tea plant. Camellia.
