Elaborated hand in hand with world class perfumers, Trudon's fragrances are the result of a careful development. Choosing the raw materials, testing the formula in our laboratory, mixing the perfume with the wax are some of the steps that lead the way to a scented candle. All our candles are handmade in our own factory in Normandy, France.

Their fabrication begins by the setup of the wicks. They are set at the bottom of each glass so that they stay perfectly centered. The glasses are then aligned on wooden counters before pouring. Right after the molten wax is mixed with the perfume, it is poured by hand. Trudon candles are the expression of an exceptional know-how, from the waxing to the packaging, and each label is centred and affixed by hand.

In 1643, Claude Trudon becomes the owner of a store on rue Saint Honoré in Paris. There he sells spices and candles. 60 years after Michel Brice Péan de Saint Gilles founds the manufacture for the whitening of waxes and the manufacturing of candles in the town of Antony, south of Paris. In 1889 the Carrière brothers, successors of the Trudon family and knowhow, obtain a gold medal for the innovation brought to their candles. And in 2007 At the crossroad between knowhow and History, the Trudon candles are born.
