Cire Scented Candle, the pure essence of beeswax

The Cire scented candle is an olfactory representation of the manufacture: symbolic, it combines emanations of warm wax and perfumes in the process of being made. Reinterpreting Trudon's core values (ancient savoir-faire and commitment to excellence), the scented candle reveals a unique perfume: behind the amber glass, a beeswax absolute. Bees and beeswax have always been at the center of manufacturing history: since the 17th century, Trudon's motto is "Deo regique laborant", which means: "they (the bees) work for God and the King". 2019 marks a turning point for the House, as Trudon decided to financially support the Orne Dark Bee Conservatory, in collaboration with the Perche Natural Park. 4 percent of all sales of the Cire de la Maison candle will go towards Orne Dark Bees savings.

A Trudon classic, the classic candle suits all occasions; perfumes each and every room. Available in all scents, it is the most iconic. They are made in the Trudon workshop in Normandy, France, using unrivaled knowledge inherited from master candle makers.

Recommendations

To get the most out of your candle, burn it until the entire surface of the candle melts.

To preserve the fragrance, do not burn the candle for more than 2 hours continuously for the first third of the candle and 1 hour continuously for the rest.

Do not leave burning candles unattended. Don't put it in a draft. Keep away from children, curtains and pets.

If the wick needs to be centered, gently readjust it to the correct position while the wax is still melted. Allow the candle to solidify before lighting it again.

If black smoke appears, trim the tip of the wick. It must be clean and no more than 5mm long at all times.

Always protect the table or surface on which the candle rests (with a wooden or ceramic plate, for example).

Do not burn the candle completely. Always leave at least 5 mm of unmelted wax at the bottom.

Keep your candle in a dry, warm environment, between 60 and 80° F.

The first use of your candle should occur within the first two months after receipt.

About Trudon Candles

The wax: Trudon candle wax formulas are the result of specific developments that are the source of their exceptional olfactory and combustion qualities. When cared for properly, a Trudon candle does not smoke and there is no wax left on the sides of the glass.

The wick: The wicks are made of cotton. You can find many types of wicks, characterized by their weave and diameter. The wicks are chosen based on the shape and size of the glasses, as well as the burning characteristics of each candle.

The emblem: Our emblem is inspired by a bas-relief found in the old Royal Wax Manufactory that belonged to the Trudon family. Located in Antony, near Paris, it now belongs to the Church. Today, the domain houses the nuns of the congregation of Saint Joseph of Cluny.

The glass: Each glass is unique and handmade in Tuscany. Its shape is inspired by champagne glasses.
