The nose behind this captivating aroma is the renowned perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena who has created this totally personal fragrance, clean and fresh but very warm. The exuberance of the bergamot in its release provides a touch of serenity and passion that joins a few crystalline drops of the most delicate accords of lily, hawthorn and heliotrope to surprise any nose connoisseur of good perfumes.

Jean-Claude Ellena was born into a family of perfumers in Grasse and learned this trade at the age of 17. He traveled to several places where he learned about the most prestigious laboratories and was able to develop as an autodidact, allowing himself to be influenced by Edmond Roudnitska. He composed simple, unconcentrated formulas to reinforce the subtlety and expressiveness of his compositions, drawing inspiration mainly from everyday life.

This perfume house was founded in 2000 when its founder Frédéric Malle decided to return the ancient splendor to the art of perfumery. The idea is to guide the perfumers and give them total freedom when creating perfumes without limits of any kind. Frédéric Malle has more than 30 years of experience in this world and offers the opportunity to other perfumers to improve themselves through each creation to obtain a masterpiece with each perfume.
