The nose behind this captivating aroma is the renowned perfumer Sophia Grojsman, who has created a fragrance that evokes that delicious cocktail from Brazil, the Caipirinha. Sophia Grojsman was born in Belarus. Since she was little she liked to smell the roses, jasmines and flowers instead of playing with her toys. She studied chemistry and then emigrated to New York and joined the IFF laboratories where she learned this great craft with one of the greatest American perfumers, Ernest Shiftan. Grojsman is recognized for her fascination with roses, which is why she always uses them in her creations.

This perfume house was founded in 2000 when its founder Frédéric Malle decided to return the ancient splendor to the art of perfumery. The idea is to guide the perfumers and give them total freedom when creating perfumes without limits of any kind.
